at St. Joseph Regional High School

 

This is an opportunity for boys and girls taking the High School Placement Test (HSPT)
on November 8, 2024, required for admission into the Catholic high schools in the
Archdiocese of Newark, to prepare for the exam. The course provides an intensive review
of mathematics, reading, language arts skills, instruction in quantitative and verbal reasoning,
and general test taking strategies.

The course is taught by Mr. Joseph Kievit, previously a Center Director with Kaplan Test Prep and
Admissions and a current faculty member at St. Joseph Regional High School. In addition to
teaching the SJR HSPT prep course, Mr. Kievit also teaches SAT and ACT prep courses at SJR.
He has over twenty years of experience in preparing middle school and high school students for
standardized tests in mathematics, reading, and language arts. Mr. Kievit has offered the
SJR HSPT/COOP course for almost a decade.

The fee for the program is $225 per student and covers all course materials.
The registration deadline will be posted in September.
