Teaching Philosophy:

I believe that engaging students and helping them to see the relevance of the subject matter is vitally important to their success.  Making connections to today’s world issues is especially important to help students become young people who think for themselves and don’t simply regurgitate what they have been told.

Fun Fact:

I spent two weeks hiking on glaciers in Switzerland when I was younger.

When I’m not at SJR you’ll find me:

Outdoors, either walking with my wife or reading

Ask me about:

My daughter getting her PhD in Counseling Psychology

I like to work at SJR because:

I truly enjoy the students.  They are wonderful young men who always give me something to smile or laugh about.
