Bio:
Marty Doherty is a 1981 graduate of St. Joseph's and has been a teacher at SJR for the past 5 years. Previously he taught for 28 years in NJ public education. He graduated and received a B.A. in English-Education (7-12) from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 1985. He received a M.S. in Education from St. Thomas Aquinas (with a specialty in special education) in 1992. He has also completed 60+ credits beyond his master's degree.

His brother Michael (class of '82) is the Vice Principal of St. Joe's. Two other brothers, James and David, have also been teachers at SJR.
