Campus Improvements Highlight Summer

The campus of Saint Joseph Regional High School saw a variety of improvements this summer, thanks to the school's Facilities Committee and Director of Facilities Ed Checke and his team.

The 1st and 2nd floor bathrooms on south side of building were completely refurbished for the first time since 1963. The entire first floor was painted with new ceiling tiles added throughout the hallway.

A second GREEN KNIGHT PRIDE wall was installed outside the Inserra Theater and highlighting the history of the performing arts program at SJR. There are plans for two additional murals in the main hallway and outside the chapel.

The outdoor chapel, originally updated in memory of Deacon Joe Sisco by Michael Kaminsky '24, received a further makeover this summer. Trees and brush were removed from the surrounding area with rocks and gravel installed to better highlight the altar.

The basketball courts outside the field house were repaved and fenced in to provide opportunity for summer campers, intramurals and student-play before and after school all year long.
