Congratulations to Dylan Gutowski ‘25 for coming in 2nd place at Stevens Trading Day 2024 on April 19.
Dylan was invited to the Stevens Institute of Technology School of Business campus along with other finalists from across the nation to compete in a live one-hour competition as a result of placing in the top 25 during a month-long virtual trading competition and beating out over 700 other students from around the world. During this unique experience, he was able to utilize Bloomberg terminals and other state-of -the art financial tools in an intense competition amongst other financially savvy high school juniors. Dylan, who dominated at first place for the first 45 minutes of the competition, slipped to 2nd place during the last 15 minutes due to a few bad trades in his high-volume trading strategy. He was one of only four competitors that day who finished the competition with a gain. He and the two other top finishers were featured on Stevens social media.
Just a reminder that SJR has our very own trading competition here at school. This month-long competition started yesterday and ends on May 31st, but it’s not too late to join.
