With close to 300 people in attendance, Saint Joseph Regional’s first Open House of the school year was a success. On Sunday, October 2, more than 125 Green Knight Ambassadors helped welcome families and their sons to Saint Joe’s. Families were guided to their seats in the Inserra Theater where they were given an orientation and the schedule for the day.
The families were instructed to follow select Ambassadors as they were given a tour to the key places around the school. First stop on the tour was Guidance. Families were met by Director of Guidance Arlene DiFiore and 9th grade Guidance Counselor Michael Doherty ‘82. Senior Brant Vicini ‘23 also spoke to the families.

Next on the tour was Performing Arts. To discuss the award-winning program was Performing Arts Director John Asselta and Chorus Director Richard Adams. To accompany them, Green Knight Ambassador Thomas Snyder ‘23 talked about his experience being a key member of the theater, band, and chorus programs.
Families were then directed to the Chapel where Campus Minister and Theology teacher Scott Becker and Mathematics teacher Daniela DiMeglio discussed Ministry and student life. Green Knight Ambassadors Jack Laux ‘24 and Brandon Karwoski ‘25 spoke about the importance of service and the various clubs Saint Joseph Regional has to offer.
Next on the itinerary was Curriculum, led by Assistant Principals Stephen Trivino and David Stoto, as well as Martin Doherty '81, English, Social Science, and Knight's Bridge Academy teacher. To speak to the curriculum, Liam Fahey ‘24, Green Knight Ambassador and Donnelly Scholar, accompanied the faculty members.

The fifth stop on the tour was Brotherhood. Led by Chief Operating Officer Steve Odierno '93, Green Knight Ambassadors Tim Doherty ‘23, Alex Pavic ‘23, and Mikey Cevetillo ‘25. Doherty shared his experience having his dad, uncle and brothers all be graduates of Saint Joe’s.
The sixth stop led families to the athletic portion of the tour. Athletic Director & Head Football Coach Dan Marangi discussed the various sports Saint Joe’s has to offer. Ambassadors Rohan Ragnauth ‘25 and Dan Brennan ‘23 spoke about their experiences as multi-sport Green Knights.
After all six stops, families trickled into the gym where tables of the various sports and clubs at Saint Joe’s were set up and into the Cafeteria where food was served. At this portion of the event, families were able to meet specific faculty members, mingle with other families, and ask questions to the Green Knight Ambassadors.
