Ryan Foody toed the rubber for the Green Knights, the southpaw allowed just one hit and zero runs over four innings. After a walk from Tommy Manzo, bunt single from Gannon Henderson, and key sacrifice squeeze bunt from Myles Gomez, the Green Knights took a 2-1 lead. Chris Gantaifis followed up the sacrifice squeeze with a bunt single himself. With the bases loaded the Green Knights catcher, Felix Gonzalez, worked a full count walk, extending the Green Knights lead to 3-1. To close the matchup, sophomore standout Brendan Lewis took the hill for one inning of work striking out two. The Green Knights wrapped up their trip with a win and a 6-1 record.
